A structure is erected. At first the supports within the structure stand firm and are more then enough to hold the structure. The structure’s various adornments are shiny and new. The structure remains resilient to external and internal factors for quite some time. But as time progresses and without the help of external forces, it loses its luster and integrity. Gravity digs in and pulls at the structure. Fatigue makes its presence known. The appearance of the structure degrades and begins to change in color and shape. The change is slow and subtle. A vibration at the structure’s base begins to appear, forcing movement to occur. As the structure’s supports continue to slowly fail, the shaking spreads and grows through out the structure. Sounds leak from within the structure as its weight shifts, The structure follows the natural course of its existence. It collapses.
